Flash floods have caused havoc on Yorkshire roads.
Heavy rain and winds of up to 50mph brought traffic to a standstill on some roads with drivers warned to beware of surface water, broken tree branches and flying debris.

A Floodwatch warning was issued yesterday for the River Aire from Stockbridge to Castleford.
The River Calder, which runs through Dewsbury, has also seen rising water levels, with worst areas affected Todmorden and Hebden Bridge.
A Floodwatch warning was also issued in the Calderdale area.
Rob Walsh, of the Environment Agency said: "Levels are rising on the River Aire in Leeds to quite a high level. The worst of the rain has fallen now, but more is expected."
In North Yorkshire fire crews yesterday had to help a 28-year-old female driver whose car had become trapped in flood water.
They had to push the car onto dry land after it became surrounded by fast flowing water near Skipton.
